It could be tentacles from an octopus asleep. Perhaps it is portholes starboard. eXTREME zoom of a hairbrush. Colors are earthy and the texture is irresistable. 

I appreaciate the city; namely, architecture. Style. Grace. Balance. Beauty. And no siding in sight. 

This pic depicts about a fifth of the wall at Heaven on Seven, a restaurant that is Cajun bliss and across from my hotel in Chicago. I had creole brunch with Andouille and at least thirty-two of these assorted sauces. Yum in my tum. 

I stopped for some bad coffee and a whirl on the Internet. In the cafe, this poster contributed to the ambience. I found it serendipitous: after all, I was on my way to Chicago and I am from Dodge City. And I agree with the poster. 

On the plane ride from Dodge City to Kansas City, dawn crept in and I can only guess that this is what sunrise is to birds. I was moved... through the air by the twin engines and by the very un-ordinary start of my day.
